For over 25 years GACG has initiated and contributed numerous studies, projects, campaigns, agreements and policies – together with its precious partners. Here you can find some of the success stories.
The establishment of the EU Observatory on Infringements of IPRs.
The single most successful joint activity has been a prolonged campaign to raise official awareness and acknowledgement of the international problem of counterfeiting and piracy which led inter alia to the establishment an INTERPOL IP Crime Department and eventually to the EU Observatory on Infringements of IPRs. This campaign was led by the GACG (and the GACG founder members) since its formation in 1998.
