CALPYC is a non-profit civil association with legals status. It was formed on May 28, 2009 and its corporate purpose is to promote the fight against trademarks and patents counterfeiting, infringement of Intellectual Property rights, infringements committed online, unfair competition and the import and marketing of products subject to smuggling and tax evasion in the country, by acting together with the competent bodies of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Powers.
